Is Obamascare Good For America?

All this nonsense about healthcare is nothing new. Obamacare and other socialist policies have been defeated time and time before. Yet they somehow always find a way to reemerge a short while later, like a turd that won’t flush. They are deliberate attacks on the individual, liberty, and the free market system.

The individual has the right to not only choose who his healthcare provider is but should also have the liberty to not be forced into buying something they do not agree with. The free market system has provided a healthcare system that is still the envy of the world. I don’t know about you but I would still rather receive treatment here than anywhere else.

I believe this is just another attack on our liberties, intended to slowly manipulate us, our freedoms, and everyone’s confidence in our exceptional American way. It’s almost as if there is an intentional antagonizing of us Americans. I think the radicals in power would love nothing more than to see us riot against ourselves than at them. That would distract from their doings and give them even more excuses to govern by the philosophy “were doing what you would want, if you knew better” mentality. Let’s not forget this is going to be enforced by the same biased freedom hating obamabots at the IRS. The judicial watch is now suing over being stonewalled check that out here.

All this amid recent reports that Americans are warming up to obamacare. Have any of them even tried to enroll? Ugh!! I know polls are polls but data is data so here it is.

Leave it to Ronald Reagan. The guy had a special way of telling a joke or story and this one is no different. This is worth the listen, well said and still amazingly relevant. Enjoy!

I know most have probably seen it by now but Jon Stewart even rips obamacare here!

A Glitch In The Food Aid Matrix? Oh Snap!

“True individual freedom cannot exist without economic security and independence. People who are hungry and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made.” — Franklin Roosevelt

A whopping 41% of Americans receive government assistance of some kind according to a heritage study.http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2013/01/us-government-increases-national-debtand-keeps-128-million-people-on-government-programs

The need for food assistance is already greater than SNAP can fill.
SNAP benefits don’t last most participants the whole month. 90% of SNAP benefits are redeemed by the third week of the month, and 58% of food bank clients currently receiving SNAP benefits turn to food banks for assistance at least 6 months out of the year.

A glitch in the snap system is a prime example of this. Some cards were left without a limit and many took advantage clearing the shelves of goods at Walmart’s in a couple different states. This was a one day glitch imagine a longer one, or even a glitch in the new healthcare system, ok let’s not ponder that for now… Consider this- snap benifits are set to be cut. http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=3998

What happens to those that looted? They should be held responsible but how? Should they pay for what they stole? How when they can’t even afford to feed themselves or their children? Do we take it from their future food stamp allotments? But wait the kids have to eat right? It’s absurd that any adult has the audacity to put the rest of us in this position. I say have some pride in yourselves our country and its principles, and learn to survive like the rest of us. This is the only path of true liberty for all. Liberty only works when your liberty doesn’t infringe on mine.

How can we demand freedom and liberty if so many of us are on aid. If we can’t afford to take care of ourselves the govt is more than happy to do it for us. We must find ways as individuals, as family’s, neighbors, and communities to find a way to instill pride in self and independence. In this country full of blessings It seems some have lost the human instinct to survive. People need to be taught how to purchase, grow, and store food again. Everyone could stand to save more by learning how to buy in bulk, participate in community gardens, store food, and do a little menu planning. We must learn to feed ourselves again.

Let’s not forget to keep things in perspective. Historically people have been controlled and manipulated with food. Check out this list of famines. http://listverse.com/2013/04/10/10-terrible-famines-in-history/ The faces of real starvation are a far cry from today’s food assistance recipients.

I always hear about people in this country having an entitlement mentality. Who feels entitled? Why do they? I’d love to know where the sense of entitlement comes from?

Please feel free to comment… How can the government of the people by the people for the people ever owe the people anything? It makes no sense…

Terrorizing Terrorists

News of the raids in tripoli Libya and Baraawe Somalia is yet another distraction by this administration. It immediately struck me as odd for numerous reasons. First off aren’t these types of missions usually dealt with a measure of secrecy? Especially considering the raid in Somalia was far from a success and could hypothetically serve to bolster the clan based terrorist group Al Shabab. The same people responsible for the Westgate mall attack in Kenya. http://www.nctc.gov/site/groups/al_shabaab.html

If the raid in Somolia was in response to the Westgate mall attack, could the raid in Libya to capture Al Libi have anything to do with Benghazi? <a href="http://http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2447299/Al-Libi-captured-Delta-Force-Libya-Al-Qaeda-terrorist-taken-away-masked-men.html“> http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2447299/Al-Libi-captured-Delta-Force-Libya-Al-Qaeda-terrorist-taken-away-masked-men.html If so why not openly admit it? Surely the president would be the first to jump up and down to claim justice has been served in perhaps some way. Especially after the lame excuse of the attack being the direct result of a youtube video when in fact it was Al Qaeda all along. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/10/07/benghazi-s-al-qaeda-connection.html If justice is to be served then how? After his interrogations aboard a navy ship, where will they detain him? Surely not the US to be brought up on domestic charges? Why not Guantanamo? Or did Obama finaly get around to closing it?

I personally have no problems actively pursuing credible threats wherever that may lead us. However I do worry that sometimes the end may not justify the means. In what manner should we peruse these types of threats? Is it better to have boots on the ground conducting these raids? Or Is it better to send in a drone and take out the bad guy and his entire family. That’s of course assuming the bad guy is bad at all. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/aug/12/yemen-drone-strikes-us-policy

Lastly how did Al Libi, a man wanted for plotting embassy Attacks in 1998 but was attending school and enjoying his asylum in Manchester the next year, ever become FBI’s most wanted? What ever happened to Ayman al-Zawahiri, Al Qaeda’s number two and Osama Bin Laden’s right hand man?
